Payment:
PayPal – PayPal provides a secure on-line method for paying by credit or debit card. You do not have to be registered with PayPal to send a payment. There is no charge to you for using the PayPal service.
Postal Orders - UK Postal Orders are accepted. Please send these to the address provided when you check out and make them payable to DragonRat Jewellery. We will wait to receive your postal order before despatching your order
Cheques - UK cheques are accepted. Please send these to the address provided when you check out and make them payable to DragonRat Jewellery. We will wait for your cheque to clear before despatching your order.
Cash - is sent at your own risk. Only Pounds Sterling is accepted, and change will be given in credit note form via email.
DragonRat Jewellery is not responsible for any payment that goes missing in the post – for your own safety it is recommended that you use Recorded Delivery, or at least get a receipt of postage from the Post Office.
Postage & Packing
All orders will be delivered in a ‘shock-proofed’ container – either a padded envelope, or in bubble wrap in a different package, or boxed. Items will not be automatically boxed unless it is so stated in the item description.
We no longer use Recorded Delivery as standard. This is now given as an option on the website - you choose it as though you were buying another piece of jewellery from the Postal Options menu. Please note: if you decide not to opt for Recorded Delivery (or International Signed For if overseas) then we will not be held responsible for any damage to items or loss of package.
UK Orders: - Parcels will be sent via First Class postage. Currently, we guarantee to send out purchases within 6 working days of payment, although we normally post three or four times per week. If you require something urgently, please contact us to ensure that earlier postage is possible. Please see the Royal Mail website for average delivery times, but please remember that we have no control over Royal Mail.
Overseas Orders: - Parcels will be sent via standard Airmail. Currently, we guarantee to send out purchases within 6 working days of payment, although we normally post three or four times per week. If you require something urgently, please contact us to ensure that earlier postage is possible. Please see the Royal Mail website for average delivery times, but please remember that we have no control over Royal Mail or the postal system in your home country.
Returns:
Any faulty or damaged items must be returned within five working days of receipt, by recorded mail. Upon receipt will will refund or replace as requested. For low value items, under £5, a photograph of the damaged item will suffice. Jewellery for piercings cannot be returned once they have been tried on, due to hygiene reasons, so please check carefully on receipt of your purchase. Please remember: we will not refund, repair or replace items that have become damaged (or lost) in the post unless you have chosen to have your parcel delivered by Recorded Delivery or International Signed For.
